Since Brody’s book (A Beauty Uncovered) was released, I’ve gotten a lot of fan mail and questions on facebook and Twitter about the series. Namely, when is the next one and will we find out what’s going on with that dead body??
Here is the short answer. Good news – Yes, you will find out what’s going on with the body. Bad news – You’re going to have to wait a while.
Due to scheduling and situations outside of my control, the series has been spaced out a little farther than you (and I) would like. Both books have been written and turned in. As the schedule currently stands, Xander’s book will be out in September and Heath’s book will be out in October 2014. That means you’ve got a couple months to kill before you find out what happens, but when the time does arrive, you’ll get both books back to back!
I know! It feels like forever, but it will be here before you know it. In the meantime, I have two other releases to help you fill the hours. My February book BACK IN HER HUSBAND’S BED is set amongst the glitz of Vegas and just received a 4 1/2 star review from Romantic Times Magazine! They said “With great dialogue & an intriguing storyline, Laurence’s latest is a well-written hit from start to finish!” Not bad, huh?
For those of you that read my second book MORE THAN HE EXPECTED, a familiar character is returning in my April release HIS LOVER’S LITTLE SECRET. Sabine, the purple haired yoga instructor with the young son is returning and so is her son’s father! This book is part of the popular Billionaires and Babies series.
I hope you’ll enjoy both those titles and if nothing else, you can re-read Wade and Brody’s stories so they’re fresh in your mind when the series continues!

I have read 3 of your books so far in just one week and I’m dying to read the next book in the Eden series; a bit disappointed to find out that the next two books won’t be out till later this year but I guess I’ll have to see when the library will also have it available online for me to borrow. Out of curiosity, will there be a book on Julianna? There was only mention of the Eden boys so it’s only right to mention about the one and only Eden girl, right?! Love your books so far, so keep it up!!!
Hi Eliza. I’m so glad you like my books. I hate that there’s such a big gap in the series, but I’m not in charge of those things. Hopefully the books will make up for the wait. As for Julianne…good question. Her story will be told! Any more information and I’ll give away too much. 🙂
I realized towards the end of Book 2 in the Eden Series that Brody mentioned about visiting a specialist after Thanksgiving. Will this be brought back up in book three? There was no mention of it during the Epilogue when they were getting ready for the annual family Christmas gathering. I do hope to read the next book soon.
Thanks for posting, Eliza. I didn’t specifically address what happened at the doctor in book 3 because the focus really isn’t on Brody and Sam anymore, although I may mention it in book 4. In the end, I don’t think it matters what happens because he’s learned to accept himself and accept that Sam could love him no matter what. But I should mention something. Thanks for the reminder. Watch for book 3 – Heir to Scandal – out in September!
Yes, I agree that Brody’s acceptance about himself and Sam loving him regardless is what really matters but yet, I couldn’t help but wonder about it. It would be great to have it mentioned again in book 4. Thanks so much!!! I will surely look forward to book 3 in Sept.
I DO -NOT understand why the books in a series have to be so FAR apart. Aperson will forget the whole plot by the time the next book comes out. If you writer’s have no control over it then you ALL need to get together and do something about it, because this is NOT what the readers want and we are the ones buying the books. WHO IS THINKING ABOUT WHAT WE WANT????
I understand your frustration Fran. I read several authors who only put out one book a year and it feels like agony in between. At the same time, I don’t envy the publisher’s job keeping up schedules. Desire alone has over thirty authors, most of which have a series going at any one time. They have a limited number of books they can put out per month. They do the best they can and are releasing the last two back to back. The books are written and have titles: HEIR TO SCANDAL and HER SECRET HUSBAND. I hope when the time comes you can still enjoy reading them.

That was the best two hours and seventeen minutes of my day. Yes, I read very fast and now I have even procured myself the second book already.
